Welcome to Star View Elementary School, A California Distinguished School and a GATE Magnet School in the Ocean View School District. I am Paul Kraft, and I’m honored to serve as the principal of Star View, where we “Shine Together with Awesome Results.” These past few years have brought many challenges which we have overcome together, as we continue to provide an outstanding instructional program for all of our amazing students. Due to the hard work our teachers and students have demonstrated, we received the honor of being a California Distinguished School last year. Our signature practice is writing- a quick visit to the classrooms provides evidence of the exceptional writing program benefiting all of our students. You'll also see consistent small group instruction and engaging STEM projects in the classrooms.
By working with the exceptional Star View staff, and getting to know each and every student and family, I can see why Star View students continue to excel. Furthermore, I’m a firm believer that each child has many unique talents, and working together, we can help all of our students reach their potential. This past year Star View participated in many educational events and festivals, further enriching the learning experiences of our talented students. We will work together to continue to provide enriching events and opportunities, all while conforming to required safety mandates. Please continue to join us at Star View as partners in our students' education.
With state resolution in hand, Senator Nguyen Congratulates Star on CA Distinguished School Honor
