If I am applying for a job, is there any benefit to me if I’m already working for the District?

Current permanent District employees shall have seniority credit added to their final passing scores in the selection process. One quarter point is added for each year of service to the District in a permanent position, but not to exceed a total of five points. To earn a quarter point, you must have completed more than six months of the current year.
