Golden View's Environmental Science Classes Present to Board
Golden View launches as an Environmental Science School this fall, so Principal Brett Hardy brought two fifth grade classes to our Board Meeting on April 24, 2018, to share some of the incredible learning opportunities already taking place. Students from Mrs. Neubert's and Mrs. Fox's classes prepared a slideshow for Board members and meeting attendees. Students talked about Golden View’s 2.5-acre working farm, including Mr. Tortelle, the school's tortoise, and the flourishing vegetable and citrus garden. Trustees, staff and audience members were also able to try tasty, homemade kale popsicles, fresh from the garden!

All interested families are invited to attend Golden View’s Environmental Science Family Night on May 2 at 5 p.m. They will be able to explore Golden View with a scavenger hunt, animal interactions and a tour of the expansive garden!
