  • Watch the new Video Message from Westmont Principal Sue Broderson!

We are here at our new interim campus and big things are happening daily.  The Westmont interim campus is being transformed to meet the growing needs of our expanding school.  The school site has added new classrooms, a new lunch shelter, and a large multipurpose room.  We will continue to have a separate dance studio, keyboarding studio, science and art rooms along with our band and music room.  An added parking lot will provide additional parking for parents and volunteers.

As we continue to grow and expand as a Visual and Performing Arts School, students will be challenged to build upon their creative and academic skills.  All children from TK-5th grade participate in  music, dance and movement classes.  Theatre arts and visual arts are integrated in common core curriculum to build upon and expand learning.  Students in 4th and 5th grade have the option of learning a band instrument during the day in addition to partcipating in the Disney Musical in Schools production, partcipating in a robotics elective or working on a visual art project.  There are so many ways to be creative at Westmont!

We look forward to having a great year at our interim site while our permanent site is being modernized.  Thank you Ocean View School District residents for approving Measure R.  We can't wait to get back to our permanent site next year and show off all our talent!

    Mrs. Broderson
