Dear OVSD Families,

We are thrilled to welcome our students back to school tomorrow (Wednesday), August 28, as we kick off the 2024-2025 academic year! Our teachers, support staff, principals, administrators, parents, and the Board of Trustees all hold high expectations for student achievement, and we are dedicated to providing quality instructional programs that cater to every student's needs.

Student achievement remains the Board of Trustees' top priority. The District will continue to offer effective daily instruction, social-emotional learning, and enhance our enrichment and support services to ensure that all students are well-prepared for success, both academically and emotionally, now and in the future.

To build on the strong foundation OVSD has established, our focus will be on fostering connections between students and staff, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect, maintaining a safe learning environment, and strengthening our partnership with parents.

Parents, you are your child's first and most crucial teacher, and your involvement is essential to our educational efforts. We encourage you to actively participate in your child's school life and invite you to reach out to us with any questions or concerns. We are here to support you and welcome your engagement.
