Assistant Principal's Welcome Message
This year has been a whirlwind of emotions and experiences and I am so happy to say that this is one of the “ups” of the year that I get to the join the Mesa View Middle School Eagles!
I am entering my 17th year in education and my 5th year as an Assistant Principal. I taught middle and high school science and served as a Certified Athletic Trainer for all levels of athletics (youth, middle school, high school, college, and professional sports). My personal interest in health and wellness comes from my background as an A.T.,C and Exercise Physiologist where I served in a hospital based cardiac rehabilitation clinic. As you can see, education has been part of my life for many, many years!
A little about myself and my family: I enjoy playing golf, volleyball, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and softball. I have two sons, Ryan (10 years) and Nathan (8 years) and they are sports and music lovers like myself. They enjoy playing soccer, golf, ice hockey, basketball, and football and Ryan is learning to play the piano while Nathan accompanies him in learning to play the guitar. Needless to say that our household is rarely quiet and my free-time activities entail supporting themJ I am constantly amazed at how quickly they grow and change and love that you and I can share in that experience together.
I believe that you and I are a team and that together our students will experience the highest level of success when we work collaboratively. Please feel free to reach out at any time to introduce yourself, express a need, or to share a celebratory event.
Here’s to an amazing year at Mesa View Middle School!
