Welcome to Mrs. Hoyt's class!

This is my 28th year in Ocean View School District having previously taught in San Diego.  I currently teach 8th grade social studies and 8th grade ELD. Spring View students and families are the best, and I absolutely love being a teacher here. Besides being an educator, I am also a mom. My own daughter, Hailey, was a product of OVSD and is currently a pre-law student at UCSB. I am married to Bo, and we have a dog named Booie. In my free time, I enjoy running half-marathons and Ragnars, reading, scrapbooking, and traveling.
