• Hello Families with children with significant disabilities, Preschool through 2nd grade:

Welcome to Room 21. It is my pleasure to be your child's teacher. Each of our students have unique needs. Our educational team, which includes you, work with our children to develop the highest level of independence possible. Students from other classes volunteer to be a positive and integral part of our class. Please do not hesitate to email or call me any time. Communication and collaboration is vital to our children’s growth and health.

I have been teaching students with significant disabilities at Village View for 11 years.  I really enjoy working with our unique students with their individual needs and unique strengths. I am a native Southern Californian. I earned my degree, teaching credential and Masters in Special Education at Cal State University, Long Beach, (CSULB). I am a mother of two young adults. My daughter just graduated from CSULB and my son is finishing his Bachelors at CSULB.  We love to take road trips, as well as other travel, and camp every year. I love working at Village View with the many different educational staff and families that work with our children. One of my favorite things to hear back from the families of students in my class is when our student volunteers see one of my students and families in the community and say “Hi” to them. Thank you for being a part of our Village View family and community.
