The Ocean View School District is committed to providing accurate and timely information regarding COVID-19 cases on its campuses, while also maintaining privacy and confidentiality for its students and staff. When we respond to a positive case, we will adhere to four tenets – act swiftly, collaborate with the Orange County Health Care Agency, follow consistent protocols, and provide transparent communication.
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among District students and staff on its campuses includes in-person instruction only. This data will be updated regularly.

COMMUNICATION PROCESS FOR POSITIVE CASES
When a positive case is reported, affected individuals will be contacted directly by their school principal or staff, and they will receive notification that may include self-isolation directions and other important information.
WHAT FAMILIES CAN DO TO LIMIT THE SPREAD
It is going to take a concerted effort to keep our students, staff and families safe. In addition to health and safety measures taken on our campus, we encourage families to be proactive and to reinforce the importance of hand-washing, physical distancing and face coverings to limit the spread of the coronavirus. It is also recommended that eligible individuals get vaccinated.
