Keri Gorsage

Keri Gorsage was newly elected to the Ocean View School District Board of Trustees on December 5, 2024. She is an accomplished and dedicated educator with nearly 30 years of experience, including the last 27 years at The Pegasus School in Huntington Beach. Her teaching career spans various grade levels, from first grade to eighth grade in both public and private schools, giving her a broad perspective on the diverse needs of students.

Keri has lived in Huntington Beach for 26 years with her husband, Chad, a teacher in the Huntington Beach Union High School District. Together, they have two children, both of whom attended Ocean View schools. Keri has been an active member of the community, serving as PTSA president at Marine View Middle School, where she worked closely with faculty and administration to provide supplemental resources for students. Additionally, she has volunteered with organizations such as Ocean View Little League, the Academy of the Performing Arts at Huntington Beach High School, and the Ballet Repertory Theatre Association. These experiences have given her valuable insights into the needs of students and families in the community.

Trustee Gorsage is deeply committed to ensuring that every child in the district receives a high-quality education that prepares them for a successful future. She believes in providing students with access to a safe and nurturing learning environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In addition to her focus on high-quality education, she is a strong advocate for responsible spending and transparency in decision-making. She is deeply honored to serve the Ocean View School District and remains steadfast in prioritizing the needs and best interests of the students in all her actions.

Her term expires in December 2028.
