Board Member Election

In 2026, the Ocean View School District (OVSD) adopted a by-trustee area election system, replacing the previous at-large method in which all voters elected all five Board members. Under the new system, voters elect a single Trustee who resides within their designated geographic area. Trustee Areas 2, 4, and 5 elections begin in 2026, while Trustee Areas 1 and 3 elections start in 2028.

The map below provides an overview of the OVSD Trustee Areas. For a more detailed view, an interactive map is available, allowing users to enter an address to identify their trustee area and view the locations of all District schools.
