  • How do I use TumbleSearch?

    Posted by:

Click on the TumbleSearch button on the top right corner of the screen. You can search by Title, Author, Subject, Lanugage, Time, Genre, or reading level.

Fields like Time, Genre, and Levels have dropdown menus for easy selection. Other fields, like Title, and Author are empty. We've programmed them to auto-fill in order to help kids with spelling. Try typing the word "When" into the Title field - six titles show up. Choose one, and then click "Go"!

  • Will Tumble Book Library be affected once Flash is discontinued in December 2020?

    Posted by:

You shouldn't notice much! TumbleBookLibrary has been compatible on non-Flash devices for years now, and the experience from one device to the next is virtually identical. However, in August 2019 we made the decision to automatically redirect all our users to the non-Flash site. If you wish to switch back to the Flash site, you can do so by clicking on the "Language" dropdown menu on the top right corner of the page.

  • Are the books downloadable?

    Posted by:

The TumbleBookLibrary subscription model does not include downloadable content. This enables us to offer our subscribers unlimited access to all the books! You've probably noticed that other services offering downloadable books limit the number of people who have access to it at any one time? Not us! You could have every student in your school reading the same book at the same time if you wanted to!

  • My Chapter Book's bookmarks and notes/highlights keep disappearing!

    Posted by:

Both the bookmark, and the notes/highlight features are cookied onto your computer. Deleting your history/cookies automatically deletes your saved TumbleBooks bookmarks and notes. This also means that in order to view your bookmarks or notes, you will need to use the same computer each time. Please note Chromebooks automatically delete cookies each time a user logs out.
