How to Add Printers

  • Adding a new printer? Can't find the one you normally use? Below are the instructions and screenshots to add a printer to your Windows 10 machine. (NOTE: This is only for networked printers. If you do not see your printer, or it is a USB-connected printer, please submit a ticket at https://support.ovsd.org.)

    1. Click the "Type here to search / Search Windows" box in the lower left hand corner next to the Start menu.

    2. Type in \\ followed by your school, followed by "print", like this: \\schoolprint, then press Enter. Example: \\circleprint

    3. Double click the printer you'd like, and it's installed!
