Discovering our Potential
LEAD is what we live by at Spring View Middle School. Our LEAD lessons incorporate the tenets of leadership, equity, compassion, social-emotional learning, and recognition of the power of our collective community. This is not just our motto, but how we "do business" and we are proud of our Spartans who embody these characteristics and positively impact our community.
Spring View Middle School serves a diverse population of 650 middle school students in grades 6 - 8. Our teaming model at the sixth grade level assists with students’ transition to middle school. Students have one teacher for English/Language Arts and Social Science and one for Math and Science. Students have the opportunity to experience a semester exploratory wheel, a beginning band class or chorus. In 7th and 8th grade, students will have a different teacher for each subject area. There are a variety of elective options and after school enrichment opportunities for all students.
Spring View is proud to offer our Sparty F.E.S.T to our new spartans. Sparty F.E.S.T is a school orientation program that welcomes incoming 6th, 7th and 8th graders and makes them feel comfortable throughout the transition to their new middle school. Specifically named for Friends Experiencing Spring Together, our 7th and 8th grade Leadership students work with, and guide, our incoming students as they discover what it takes to be successful throughout their time at Spring View.
Spring View is proud of its students’ achievements. We believe much of the credit for this gain lies in our focus on standards-based curriculum and instructional strategies as well as the strong parent and school relationship that is developed and fostered in every classroom. We follow a traditional bell schedule where each class meets for 52 minutes daily. Our elective course offerings are designed to support and develop a variety of skills and interests in our students.
We cannot wait to welcome you as our next Spartan here at Spring View Middle School.
