Welcome

  • Being the principal at Golden View has continued to be an amazing journey! I love that I have had the chance to continue growing relationships with our families, students, and staff. Golden View is a special place to be. I love watching the children learning about ways to help our environment and seeing them have fun out on our farm or Student Environmental Learning Facility. This year is our fourth year as an Environmental Science School and what a journey it has been! We opened up our newly renovated Environmental Learning Facility or “Farm” two years back, and have broadened our Environmental Science program through hiring a new environmental science educator and have welcomed two new pigs to the farm. I am proud to share that we have been named a California Green School, which is a huge honor! Our school is growing in enrollment and our test scores are making  leaps and bounds! I am so proud of the children and their families for all the dedication you put towards your child’s education, it is really showing! I have the pleasure of watching the children grow throughout the year and love to see what amazing citizens they are all becoming. Our students receive a well-rounded education while learning through an environmental lens. What an amazing opportunity this is for our children! Parents, thank you for all of your support and continued involvement in your child's education. I love coming to work everyday to see our staff’s love and passion for teaching shine in our classrooms!

     Always remember….

Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists they become the best they can possibly be.
