Dr. Michael Conroy was selected to serve as Superintendent of the Ocean View School District in 2022, after serving as the Deputy Superintendent since 2015. He has over 36 years of experience in public education. In addition to his expertise in business and operations, he brings significant experience in leadership and teaching in elementary, high school and unified school districts. Dr. Conroy was a high school math and business teacher, a high school principal, a director of business services, and an assistant superintendent. 

Dr. Conroy has received numerous awards, including being named the Business Services Administrator of the Year (Region 17) by the Association of California School Administrators, and receiving the Worth McClure Scholarship Award from the American Association of School Administrators. 

Dr. Conroy earned his Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Long Beach in Business Administration, his teaching credential from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and both his Master’s Degree and Doctorate Degree at the University of Southern California.
