Village View Elementary offers all students a rigorous academic program that encompasses Transitional Kindergarten through fifth grade. All of our students participate in a well-rounded instructional program designed to meet their individual needs. We have high expectations and promote high standards for all our students, staff and families.
Village View is in the process of extending our students' educational experience beyond NGSS, Next Generation Science Standards. Our teachers are receiving specialized training with leading educational experts in Ocean Literacy and Marine Biology. We are beginning to include the essential principles and fundamental concepts of Ocean Sciences in our daily instruction. All students will have the opportunity to learn how our lives depend on the health of the ocean. Understanding the ocean is essential to comprehending and protecting our planet Earth.
We appreciate and welcome parent volunteers and community support. We would not have been able to accomplish such exciting classroom projects and wonderful community events without our amazing PTO and parent volunteers. Also, we have a long-standing partnership with the Optimist Club of Huntington Beach to add more community interaction and events for our students.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Benane
