  • April's Character Trait is Compassion and Friendship

These are the points that will be taught to students when discussing COMPASSION AND FRIENDSHIP:

    1. Compassion is when someone is feeling hurt or sad and your heart wants that person to feel better.  The next time someone around you is feeling       hurt or sad, think of what you can do to help that person feel better.

    2. Golden Rule - Always treat others as you would wish to be treated.

    3. Always be your best by considering how someone feels when you are with them.

    4. Friendship is when you care about someone and show empathy.

    5. Being friends means you can be yourself.  You can share your true feelings and enjoy being around that person.

    6. A real friend is trustworthy and if you make a mistake, your friend will not make fun of you.
