Welcome!

  • Hello Oak View Mighty Owls, today is Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

We are off to an amazing start this school year! Our students and staff work hard, making connections, and finding their daily reason to work by making dedications to a special person. We have found that we work harder and with more success when we dedicate our day to someone special like mom, dad, grandma, auntie or even our pet! Sometimes our students dedicate their day to their teacher, Mr. Frank, Ms. Diana or even Mrs. Landero! Mrs. Landero started up her daily dedications as well. Look out for them on our social media pages!

Mighty Owls-make sure that you eat a good breakfast at home or come to school at 7:40 am to get one before your day starts. Get a good night's sleep each day and be on time for school each day.

We have a lot to celebrate this year! Not only were we recognized as a Pivotal Practice Award Winner, we also received the bronze award for our PBIS practices. Recently, our Owl's Nest program was certified for a Golden Bell recognition, which is a distinct honor in the state of California! It is great to be a Mighty Owl!!

We also continue to have our bilingual/bi-literate front office staff, which includes Mrs. Cathy Opperud, School Office Manager; Ms. Monica Merino, School Office Clerk; and Mrs. Jadira Lopez, our Community Liaison.

We look forward to a strong school year! Together we will move mountains!

If no one has told you they love you today, Mrs. Landero does! Have courage and be kind!
