Marine View’s Music Department was recently honored by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), in coordination with the Glee Give a Note Foundation. In honor of this achievement, Superintendent Loose presented the Marine View Music Department with a Recognition Award.

Marine View Jazz Ensemble, Chorus, and Dance Team

We were very honored to have the Marine View Jazz Ensemble, Chorus, and Dance team perform “Encore” at the January 10th Board meeting. These talented students, under the direction of Dennis Nicolosi, Lynn Silver and Karen Sanford, have been working hard this year, which was evident by their wonderful and entertaining performance. I am so proud of these students and their accomplishments, having recently won $10,000 in the Glee “Give a Note” contest. Keep up the good work!

Mesa View Middle School was the December, 2011 recipient of the Sparkle View Award. I was pleased to present this award to Mesa View’s Custodial staff, in recognition of their dedication and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and attractive school for Mesa View students. Principal Leona Olson and Assistant Principal Andre Illeg were also present for this honor.

It was my pleasure to present a Recognition Award to Principal Robert Miller, Vista View Middle School, in honor of their 4th Year of Recognition by the Orange County Register as one of Orange County’s “BEST” middle schools. I am so proud of Vista View for this achievement. I want to congratulate Principal Miller, Assistant Principal Santos, teachers and students for all their hard work and commitment to excellence.
