District Communications
Our objective is to improve both internal and external communication systems with the specific goal of creating open, two-way communication between the Board of Trustees, administration, staff, parents, and the community of Ocean View School District.
Our Communication Goals:
- Clearly communicate timely news and information to the Ocean View School District community.
- Utilize digital production and distribution methods to move away from paper communications.
- Clarify District flow of information.
- Publish informational pieces to aid understanding and support of District programs.
- Create system to encourage flow of information from parents and community to the District.

The Communications Department is responsible for the overall communication needs of the District. Areas of responsibility include public information, media relations, District website, press releases, Budget Bulletins, District publications, master calendar, Reprographics, District events coordination, brochures, fact sheets, and other communication materials.
